Dear readers,
Let’s continue the pattern. In the fields of medical and sports massage, both we and our patients often consider it a miracle when we achieve unusually fast and/or unexpectedly outstanding clinical outcomes. For example, when a person suffers for long periods from stress-related disorders and/or experiences significant anxiety or worry while preparing for a difficult surgery—and suddenly, after only a few treatments, the clinical picture improves dramatically—the patient begins to feel better, regains their life, and no longer needs surgery. Often they tell us, “This is a miracle. I never thought I could feel normal again.”
Personally, I understand and agree: yes, this is a miracle.
You can find many such examples by clicking on the patient reports.

Each of these achievements is considered a miracle by our patients. It is also important to mention that similar “miracles” occur in conventional medicine, when physicians succeed through medications or other therapeutic tools. But neither we nor the doctors consider these events mysteries, because we can explain how the results were achieved.
In Part 1, I presented an MS case that was both a miracle and a mystery. The case of Leonard Cohen (may he rest in peace), which I presented in Part 2, is also a miracle and a mystery—simply because we cannot explain it.
Once, when my son was a little boy, we were walking in the forest and he asked me:
“People talk about God… but where is He? Why can’t we see Him?”
Something came to mind. I picked up a tiny pine seed. I asked him to sit and think about the real miracle: that from this tiny seed will grow a huge tree. In this, we can see God, His miracles, and His power. Of course, some people may say this is simply the power of Mother Nature. In life, we each choose our beliefs and should respect one another. But regarding the phenomenon itself—the miracle—we all agree.
When it comes to miracles in the field of massage, our personal beliefs do not matter. What matters is our understanding of these therapeutic powers and our ability to use them to improve people’s health, help them regain their lives, and bring light into the darkness of disease. This is the driving force of our professional lives.
Today, at least 70% of my practice involves terrible chronic stress-related illnesses, as I mentioned in Part 1 of this article. Yes—these people live in the darkness of these conditions: headaches, sleep disorders, disorientation, and symptoms of cognitive decline. I am 100% convinced that if we do not adequately address these conditions, including cognitive decline, we will face a dementia pandemic.
In Part 1, I stated that no methodology in the entire field of healthcare has therapeutic power comparable to that of medical massage when treating chronic stress-related disorders. In Part 2, I presented a challenge to that claim. A very detail-oriented physician—who has referred patients to me for many years, received treatment from me himself, and studied the science of massage—called me and admitted that there is truly no comparison to the clinical power of medical massage for treating these terrible disorders.
Dear friends, this is not theoretical demagoguery. I treat these cases daily, and I succeed. I not only help people get their lives back, but in many cases, I also help prevent the development of dementia. Yes—we are facing a dementia pandemic. Everything I say here, please feel free to challenge, disagree, or agree.
In conclusion, let us all agree on one point:
The therapeutic power of massage—described in Part 1—is indeed a miracle.
The miraculous power and unique nature of massage therapy. To be truly effective massage practitioners, we must understand the miraculous and mysterious powers of massage therapy.
The most miraculous aspect of massage therapy is our ability, through our hands, to generate a tremendous amount of electrical activity in the body. This process releases action potentials that stimulate the central nervous system and trigger multiple positive responses throughout the body’s organ systems. I personally do not know of any other therapeutic method, including medication, capable of stimulating the human organism as a whole in such a natural and comprehensive way.
By applying different technical approaches, we can guide the body to respond in specific and needed ways. For example, when performing massage in an inhibitory regime, we can increase the pain threshold and activate the gate control mechanism that closes pain signals. Depending on our treatment goals, we can use specific techniques to stimulate the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and promote the formation of new mitochondria. All these methods are taught in my programs. Each disorder requires specific techniques, and scientists have developed protocols that define which techniques are most effective for particular conditions.
Perhaps the greatest miracle of medical massage is its ability to balance the activities of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. This balance is essential to restoring health, and our capacity to influence it through touch is truly remarkable.
In addition to the profound physiological stimulation massage provides, we can also integrate energy work. The science of massage supports and explains the importance of such integration—not only for achieving better therapeutic results but also for protecting the practitioner’s own energy and health.
The vast body of massage science allows us to apply knowledge and experience from different protocols to various cases. One of my articles (link below) explains how pre-event sports massage techniques can be extremely beneficial for improving passing time of blood flow and stimulating new mitochondria formation.
Best wishes.
