Dear Friends,

Welcome to the "Free Medical Massage Lessons and Discussions with Boris Prilutsky" page!

All classes and discussions will be presented in a scientific yet accessible manner, so both the general public and healthcare professionals can understand and advance their knowledge to learn potentials to integrate medical massage in your healthcare fields ,or develop and enhance professional massage skills, or choose appropriate therapy for your health problems, I believe in understanding rather than memorizing thousands of pages of textbooks on anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. The Latin word "doctor" means educator. The general public must be educated in fine detail about when and how medical massage can be considered alternative and/or complementary medicine, and what they can do for themselves.

When it comes to medical and sports massage education, both the general public and massage practitioners must clearly understand that the science related to medical and sports massage is rooted in general biomedical science. At the same time, it is designed specifically for the clinical application of massage. We cannot use general scientific data because it is not clinically applicable to medical and sports massage. It is, so to speak, a different science, a specific science, for a different clinical approach. This science is different from the science supporting treatments that use medication only and different from the science based on surgical procedures. Therefore, in many cases, medical massage must be incorporated into an integrative medicine approach, making it one of the most powerful medical tools. For better understanding, you are welcome to listen to patients' reported outcomes. https://www.medicalmassage-edu.com/testimonials/

Future discussions will also be dedicated to what patients can do for themselves, especially in cases of stress-related illnesses, such as neck and upper back pain, TMJ painful dysfunctions, tension headaches, essential hypertension, general muscular aches and pains, sleep disorders, anxieties, clinical depression, foggy brain phenomena, lower back disorders include, but are not limited to, sciatica, disk herniations, thoracic outlet syndrome, and more. I will try to provide as much information as possible on how to prevent surgeries and restore pain-free functional activities. As you can hear from patients' reported outcomes, it is possible.

Statistically, 70–95% of annual primary care physician visits are stress-related cases. It is a scientifically and clinically proven fact that medical massage is the most powerful methodology when it comes to the treatment of stress-related disorders. Therefore, it is logically correct not only to discuss the theoretical and clinical aspects of stress management massage but also to offer lessons on self-massage. The general public can learn these techniques, and massage therapists can adopt them as self-treatment and home programs for clients. As a matter of fact, the first discussion will be dedicated to the role of medical massage in the prevention of stress-related cancers. Cannot be more serious than this.

I will present theoretical aspects as well as will offer hands-on demonstrations. Please be aware that all my teachings are open to questions, agreements, disagreements, sharing personal experiences, and presenting personal cases. I will be able to answer and advise on many health issues. Feel free to ask.

Looking forward to a successful learning process.

Best wishes, Boris Prilutsky
